We would like to introduce you to a world of discovery and wonder! In Science Explorers we focus on having students test their curiosity and set the foundation for a love of science through guided science projects and experiments. Join Coach Caroline as she guides each young explorer through a carefully designed curriculum around some of the most interesting aspects of science such as: human anatomy, earth, physics, and animal habitats. Each class focuses around an experiment filled with learning potential! Each session offers NEW experiments that your child will love!
Get up and DANCE! This is the next step to our popular introductory Hip Hop Dance class. Hip Hop Dance 2 builds on your students current skills, refines them and work towards more elaborate routines and complex moves. Students will enjoy Coach Lateef’s teaching method and they will be up and dancing around in no time!
Come play with us! Through this introductory guitar class, your student will learn the basics of classic guitar. Classic guitar is a solo style which combines melody, bass and chords together. We set the foundation for a life long love of guitar, by teaching proper technique, chords, strumming and guitar maintenance. Students will develop at their own pace but all will be encouraged to start playing some classic songs.
This class is devoted to exposing children to the game of chess. Chess has long been regarded as a game that can help develop one’s analytical thinking and decision making skills. We want our students to develop a passion for the game while exercising their minds. Each week we will have a focused lesson, followed by some free play where they will practice their skills, and sportsmanship. We will culminate the class with a tournament of Champions!
The advanced class is finally here! For all students who have taken Samy’s Camera Photo Camp 101, here’s your chance to expand your photography knowledge and learn fun new tricks of the trade. This semester zooms in on Nature and Portrait Photography, focusing on eight measures of a good photograph: Style, Creativity, Subject Matter, Composition, Color, Technique, Lighting, and Impact. At the same time, students will master cool new techniques like panoramic stitching, self-portrait, after-effects, black & white, and video. The class includes a new 4GB memory card and mini tripod to keep. The final class features a graduation ceremony with diplomas, DVDs, and a gallery show of the students’ framed photographs - which all parents, teachers, family and friends are invited to attend.
This class is for students who know how to play, and want to develop their strategy. Chess is a game of logic and strategy these skills help develop one’s analytical thinking and decision making skills. We want our students to continue their passion for the game while exercising their minds. We have developed lessons and worksheets that will expose students to a variety game scenerios. We will culminate the class with a tournament of Champions!
Put on your apron and come cook up a storm! The average recipe involves identifying common words (butter, milk, flour), tons of counting (one teaspoon, three tablespoons, stir twenty times), and math concepts (half and whole). Double or halve the recipe and you’re teaching addition and subtraction or multiplication and division. Chef Teresa’s unique approach to cooking is a great way to encourage students to try new foods, learn proper preparation and enjoy even their veggies!
Tee it up with TGA! This national, award winning, 5 level program is specially designed for children and builds upon the educational concepts they are learning in the class room including Math, Science and English. Fun comes first in every TGA class, but our curriculum also focuses on improving motor skills and physical fitness as well as instilling self-confidence and life values through professional golf instruction. Students learn the fundamentals, etiquette and rules of the game in the comfortable environment of your school campus with a low student to professional instructor ratio. Best of all, we provide all the equipment and training materials so children of all skill levels have the chance to come out and tee it up with TGA!
Ready to rock! Now that you have gotten the basics in our Guitar 1 class your student will now be able to build on their skills and start to play some of their favorite songs. Students will be encouraged to use proper technique, read music and develop their creativity into their own music.
Healthy minds help support active minds. Yoga guides students through meditation, breathing techniques and a variety of adapted poses. Additionally, your student will build strength, coordination, flexibility and physical/internal balance. Every class is an experience!
Slide on down to the dance floor! Learn the basics of hip hop dance to some of today’s biggest hits. Allow your child to express his/her creativity, as they dance and improve their endurance, flexibility and strength. We will focus on getting your child comfortable with dancing, choreography and above all getting into the groove!
Our Flag Football camp is sure to deliver classic gridiron action! Football is presented in fun and invigorating training environments. Football offers the core skills of passing, catching, and de-flagging or defensive positioning. Our objective is to prepare our campers to be true champions on and off the gridiron. Flag Football Camp also teaches good sportsmanship, teamwork, and the importance of fair play, and our experienced coaches give children who want to play football the opportunity to learn the game and improve their skills in a positive, secure environment.
Being multilingual can be an extremely advantageous trait in this global world. Proficiency in more than one language can be very helpful in the development and academic success of young children. arc is now proud to offer Korean as a second language. Korean is a great language that can aid students in learning other Asian languages such as Japanese and Chinese because all three languages share many similarities. Our Korean course will also provide students with a better understanding of Korean culture.

No matter your music genre preference or commitment level, DJ Bootcamp provides the hands-on instruction you need to learn the DJ fundamentals. Learn to spin, scratch and create mash-ups for your friends DJ Bootcamp is where you start.
Clay is a wonderful, tactile medium that many kids have never experienced before. Its three dimensional nature encourages students to think about structure, shapes and forms. This class progresses through the basics of clay sculpture. They will learn everything about clay from basic shapes to more elaborate creations. Each student will walk away with their own glazed masterpiece!
Photo camp is back! This fun interactive class encourages students to develop their artistic side with a camera. They will learn the various facets of photography from macro photography to photo journalism in unique and fun ways. Make sure to be there for graduation day when your student will walk away with a diploma, digital camera, 2gb memory card, a personalized photo book, DVD slide show, t-shirt, hat, a guided tour of the store and a passion for photography!
Students learn the three fundamental principles of Musical Theater: Acting, Singing, and Dancing. Each week students focus on one of the three disciplines culminating in a showcase performance incorporating scenes, songs, and choreography. This session’s selections will be from the popular show GLEE!
Young Transformers is an introductory robotics class. Robotics encompasses multiple disciplines, including mechanical engineering, software programming, electronics and even human psychology. Your child will take part in hands-on and collaborative projects that reveal the benefits and wonder of robotics. Each class will build on the next as they move from basic circuits to actual robots!
We are bringing the Zoo to You! Winter is here and it has brought many new BABY animals. Each week, students handle new animals like snakes, lizards, furry critters, birds and farm animals. In this fun and gentle learning environment students learn about the feature animals through a variety of ways including: stories, games or a related arts project. In this session students will have the opportunity to bottle feed a precious new lamb!
Learn how to shred like a champ! This class will teach students how to mount, push, turn, ollie, and ride small curbs and ledges. Each week, we will introduce a new piece of our portable skate park where students can improve their skills. All students must provide their own skateboard and protective gear (helmet, knee pads, elbow pads and wrist guards).
