Enrichment activities provided by arc include, but are not limited to, the following:

ROBOTICS

Young Transformers is an introductory robotics class. Robotics encompasses multiple disciplines, including: mechanical engineering, software programming, and electronics. This class is a hands-on, multidisciplinary, collaborative, authentic learning experience for every child. We utilize Lego’s critically acclaimed Mindstorms system, which allows students to build humanoids, animals, machines and much more.

CHESS

This class is devoted to exposing children to the game of chess. Chess has long been regarded as a game that can help develop one’s analytical thinking and decision making skills. We want our students to develop a passion for the game, while exercising their minds. Each week we will have a focused lesson, followed by some free play where they will practice their skills and sportsmanship. We will culminate the class with a tournament of Champions!

MUSIC ACADEMY

The Music Academy is a production course designed to enhance imagination and innovation. Students are introduced to the technical fundamentals of recording and editing digital audio while exploring the concepts of songwriting and arrangement. Each weeks lesson builds on each other in order to have your child produce their own music. Each student will walk away with one of a kind CD which will be a class compilation starring your child’s own digital creation!

TGA TENNIS

Every TGA tennis class focuses on academic concepts developed by edcational experts, the rules and etiquette of tennis, and skill development. The curriclum includes games, drills, and physical fitness activities that improve motor skills, agility, and hand-eye coordinations. Our goal is to not only develop students' tennis skills, but to give children the building blocks for future achivement on the tennis court and in life.
